The Close Protection Unit (CPU) Coordinator is responsible for assisting
the Regional Security Officer (RSO) with supervising, managing, and
administering the CPU program. CPU Coordinator is responsible for
providing a safe and secure environment for the conduct of foreign
policy. The CPU Coordinator manages, organizes, directs, and implements
all aspects of Post's close protection program. The CPU Coordinator
reports directly to the Assistant Regional Security Officer (ARSO).
Qualifications and EvaluationsRequirements:
EXPERIENCE: Incumbent is required to have a minimum of (6) years of experience in a protective security related field such as private/commercial personal security details, law enforcement, and military or security program management. Of which, the incumbent is required to have (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: CPU Coordinator requires a valid driver's license, ability to conduct and understand basic arithmetics, the use of spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Power-Point, Word and Excel is required. CPU Coordinator routinely designs PowerPoint presentations for the middle and upper management within the organization.Education Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
LANGUAGE: Level 4 (Advanced Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing French and English is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills. Must possess a valid drivers license. Ability to manage the work of others in a team environment is required. Program management skills and organizational ability is desired. Regularly utilizes Adobe Acrobat Pro, Ariba, ILMS and myServices software.
